Johnny Flores Horses of Flores Ranch, LLC is a premier Ranch Horse Training Program led by AQHA Certified Professional Horseman, World Ranch Horse Association carded judge, clinician, and trainer Johnny Flores. Based in Acton, California, Johnny specializes in Ranch Horse development and colt starting, offering tailored programs for yearlings, futurity prospects, and seasoned show horses of all breeds.

Johnny’s commitment to classical Vaquero traditions has produced proven, consistent results—his horses have earned titles such as the World Ranch Horse Association World Champion (2025), Extreme Cowboy Association World Champion (2020), AQHA VRH Top Ten (2023), WCRH Ranch Riding Freestyle Open Champion (2024 & 2023), and Extreme Mustang Makeover Top 5 (2016). His program has also shaped clients into winners and developed client horses into world champions, a testament to the depth and effectiveness of his training philosophy.

A respected horseman and educator, Johnny has worked with a wide range of breeds including Quarter Horses, Appaloosas, Gypsy Vanners, Arabians, and Mustangs. His passion for developing both horses and riders has taken him across the nation, with his clinics and educational content recognized by equestrians worldwide. He teaches international webinars and offers both in-person and virtual coaching to help riders strengthen communication, confidence, and partnership with their horses.

Through demonstrations and live performances, Johnny showcases the time-honored techniques of the old Californio Vaqueros, the artistry of the Garrocha, and the versatility of today’s American Ranch Horse.

From Flores Ranch in Acton, Johnny continues his mission to inspire and educate—providing performance ranch horse training, colt starting, lessons, and clinics while expanding his reach to riders across the globe.
